Passing of a friend

Dear drum corps friends,

I was informed this morning of the passing of Mr. George Hicks Sr., director of The Cadets of New York City, on Friday, August 11th. The corps met Saturday, August 12, 2000 to discuss this tragedy. They planned to competed Sunday, August 13, 2000, at The Garden State Circuit Championships "in memory of Mr. Hicks."

The Garden State Circuit extends deepest sympathy to Mr. Hicks' family and friends.
