July 22, Sault Sainte Marie, ONT

This show was an exhibition, but I thought I could comment a little.

BANDETTES FEEDER CORPS: I don't think I have ever seen drum corps members
so small. Considering their size (both numbers and age), they put out
a lot of sound. They have 5 brass, 9 percussion, 6 color guard, 3 banner
girls, and 1 drum major. Despite the fact they were out of tune and not
together, I enjoyed their performance of "Beauty and the Beast."

BLUE SAINTS: This corps is from Sudbury, ONT. I hadn't heard of them before,
but they performed well. Another small corps, they, too, had a considerable
  amount of power.

RACINE SCOUTS: Their show was music from Respighi. I've never heard of
either the Racine Scouts or Respighi, but they performed well.

CAPITAL SOUND: Their show has improved 100% since I saw it in DeKalb. I
  really enjoyed listening to/watching them.

NORTHERN AURORA: Their YANNI show is really exciting. Having really cleaned
it up since DeKalb, I think they could have a shot at making finals for
Div. III. Their marching is really clean and they play well together.

COACHMEN: I think their show could've been better, but since they arrived
late, they didn't get much, if any, warm up time. They were scheduled to
perform before NA, but went on after due to their late arrival. I still
  enjoyed their show.

BANDETTES: Wow! I saw them in DeKalb, but this was a different corps! They
have done an immense amount of work cleaning up their show. Their
music from Manhattan Transfer was wonderful.

Thanks to Lani A. Weingartner on RAMD for these scores!
