June 18, Bellevue, OH

Thanks to Tim Davis on RAMD for this review!

I saw some of these corps in Columbus on 6/16, and everyone that I
was with agreed that none of the performances were quite as good as on
Friday. The scores don't seem to necessarily reflect this, so maybe it
was just that Friday had been our first show of the season, and
everything was exciting then!
I sincerely _hope_ all of the scores are correct - the announcer
was down on field level, and they had a bad cable or something on the
microphone, because the sound kept cutting in and out. The Lancers
would've appreciated that 42.8, but I realized that was wrong when the
next score was 34.0. Sorry Lancers!
OH, and finally - None of the corps received trophies at this
contest. The organizers decided on more practical items: most of the
corps received different sized BEVERAGE COOLERS! I think the Colts got
the big 'ol ice chest, and I don't even know what they gave to
Madison. It was some unusual collection of items that I don't
remember. Maybe someone can fill us in. So, when you see your favorite
corps member that performed at this contest, ask them how they are
enjoying their cooler item! Never heard of anything quite like this.
And i'm not gonna say any more, 'cuz I'm not out to get flamed.
   Enjoy!
